Just added a bunch of new links for some helpful online resources to the academics page of the site. Check them out, if you've used other resources online that other students may find helpful let us know by contacting the webmaster with your link.

There will be a Grad steak night fundraiser on Wednesday February 8th starting at 6:30pm. The steak night will be at Dino's Bar and Grill on Central Ave. and will cost $15. With this you will be provided a steak supper and entitled to $2 draft all night long! Tickets will be on sale starting Monday at 10:30am outside room 2C01. (There is a chicken option if prefered).

Mechanical Engineering clothing is on sale this week and we have managed to get some very high quality gear this year! Featured will be; North Face Apex Bionic Jackets and American Apparel t-shirts and zip-up hoodies. Come try on some Mech apparel outside 2C01!

Tickets for the 2nd Annual Catalina Wine Mixer will be on sale in the arts tunnel and outside room 2C02 for $10 tomorrow starting at 10:30am. The event features wine tasting, drink specials all night, live music entertainment featuring DJ Fin-S. 50% of proceeds go to support the Sask Children's Wish Foundation.

MECH-ELEC is Saskatchewan's largest pubcrawl with nearly 600 people taking part last year. Tickets can be purchased outside 2C02 (or the arts tunnel). Check out Facebook for more details.

Mesa memberships are on sale this week. Look for our table near 2C02 to get yours. Memberships are $10 and come with a whole bunch of awesome benefits.

MESA is welcoming students back to school with not one but TWO back-to-back beer nights at Dino's. On both Thursday September 8th and Friday September 9th come down to Dino's for cheap $2 beers between 8pm and close. With two consecutive nights of beer you've got no excuse to miss it. It's the start of a new school year and so it seems like an appropriate time to update the design on the MESA Website. You can see the new coat of paint already on the site. I've also fixed the exam file submission system (so it actually works now), added a new image slideshow to the homepages, and rearranged some of the links on the left. Hey everone, we're looking for a new logo for all of our mech stuff. We thought the best way to go about getting a new design was to get our fellow mech's to submit a design that they like, and something that they'd like to put on mech clothing. I've been digging around the webserver, and I found some old logo designs from previous years to encourage some ideas.

Anyone interested in submitting a logo design, fire off an email with your attached logo to Jordan Black (jab953@mail.usask.ca) by January 11. The winning design will win a FREE mech shirt! Free SWAG with your own design? Doesn't get any better than that!

Mech-elec this year was a blast! Nearly 600 tickets sold so there was a huge turn-out and a great time was had by all. A few pictures have been uploaded to the site, you can check them out under the Events link, or just click HERE.
